1 Day . Enter the Painter's Eye - Paint Along
Come paint with Gabor Svagrik for one day at Lost Dutchman State Park, Mesa Arizona. Gabor will paint about 2 to 3 oil paintings and you can paint right next to him all day or just watch and take notes on how he creates his outdoor paintings.
Gabor will be talking about his process as he paints from his limited palette, and you will have a rare opportunity to watch & see how he looks at the landscape, captures the light, does his aerial perspective all in a short period of time. Often time’s students just get confused at how to simplify the landscape. As we all know, it is what we leave out of the painting not what we put in that counts.
At the end of the day, Gabor will give everyone a critique on the paintings that you have painted covering: drawing, composition, value and color. This will help you improve and make better decisions when painting the landscape.
